Culture, Art and Traditions
Back for its second edition, Made in Mexico 2016 will be a colorful tribute to Mexico’s art, culture and traditions set to celebrate all things Mexican. You can enjoy a string of events and special treats from September 12th to September 17th as well as a distinctly Mexican theme at the resort throughout the whole month.
This series of events coincides with Mexico’s Independence, known as El Grito, which is traditionally celebrated late in the evening on September 15th in honor of the call of independence.

Members will be surrounded by Mexico’s finest during this time, enjoying a series of inspiring activities such as a Mexican fair presenting fine Mexican products including wine, cheese, crafts and fine art. You can also meet the guests of honor, fashion designer Maria Rosario Mendoza, potter Valentín Garcia Magaña and chef Miguel Bautista who will be showcasing their talents during this time in addition to Mariachis, dancers and other tributes to Mexico’s traditions.

The Flavors of Mexico
Although the main events of Made in Mexico will take place in the Red Room and Orange Deck between September 12th and September 17th, the resort will be offering an explosion of Mexican flavors throughout the month, serving specialty Mexican dishes at the resort’s restaurants as well as tequila tastings.
“Made in Mexico is one of the highlights of the year,” says Alejandro Ayala Cuevas, Activities Manager, “my team and I are really excited about the events; it’s what makes the job so rewarding.”
